May 28-2025 5.00Firstly, I will say that the hosts were kind and responsive, which I appreciated. However, I must express my disappointment regarding the value for the price we paid. The mattress in the primary bedroom was quite uncomfortable and the pillows were disappointingly flat. Additionally, while the listing advertises two guaranteed free parking spots, it’s important to note that the parking is in a surface lot shared among all units of the motel. Unfortunately, this meant that we had to park two buildings down, which was very inconvenient, especially after a long day of driving. Finally, when you open the door at night you are going to have bugs in the apartment due to the light right by the door. I understand that is unavoidable, but i got bit on my arm and my face so it’s something I’d want to know beforehand.

This has been one of the best air bnb experiences that I've ever had. The hosts were so accomodating, responsive and quick to assist whenever needed. The location can't be beat and the amenities offered in the condo and around the condo complex were everything that was needed to complete the stay. They really know how to treat a guest and understand the meaning of customer service. Thanks again; it was such a great experience :)

The property features an olympic size pool with an adjacent jacuzzi, a sandy little beach with a wooden pier, a marina and boat ramp. The 67 lush tropical acre resort is perfectly located in the heart of the upper Keys the most southern point of Key Largo, in the quiet town of Tavernier. We are located 60 miles from Miami International Airport and 90 miles from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. The security gate at the entrance of the property is manned 24/7 and the keyless entry gives you independant access to your condo.
Neighborhood
There are many areas to sit and watch the sun rise or gaze at the waves including our new tiki hut perched over the ocean. Nearby you will find Harry Harris Park. A wonderful waterfront park with playground for the kids and plenty of room to walk on the oceans edge.
Transit
DRIVING DIRECTIONS If you are arriving via car and have a GPS / SatNav system in the car, please use 500 Burton Drive, Tavernier, Florida as the address. If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 - Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1. Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there is. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area. You can reach Ocean Pointe by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Burton Drive at mile marker 92.5, just before the Circle K convenience store and Dairy Queen in the median. Ocean Pointe is approximately half mile down Burton drive on your right. Please excuse us as we undergo renovations for a new gate house. GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. Some possibilities to explore: KEYS AIRPORT SHUTTLE provides daily door to door shuttle service to and from Key West & the Florida Keys & Miami & Ft Lauderdale airports. The GREYHOUND KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures from the Miami Airport to all areas in the Keys. CAR PARKING Parking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to our unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming, and the plate numbers of cars provided.
Notes
The condo is managed by Oasis Vacation Rentals and are available anytime! Cancellation Policy: Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

HOUSE RULES:
* Minimum age of primary guest checking in must be 25
* The resort does not allow wet towels to be hung over the outdoor railings
* Personal kayaks must be stored in or on your vehicle during your stay
* Shoes must be stowed in the suite, not outside
* CHILDREN JUMPING ON OUR BEDS, creates costly damage to our bed frames.
* REFRIGERATOR: Please do not turn the fridge to the coldest setting, it will freeze up and stop working. It can take up to 9 hours to chill room temp products.
* Quiet time 10:00pm to 8:00am.
* NO Unauthorized Guests
* NO luggage carts inside the condo
* NO PETS - ESA and Service Animals must be registered/approved by property manager
* Pack and Play, High Chair available for rent
* NO SMOKING-$500 cleaning fee if evidence of smoke is discovered
HURRICANE/TROPICAL STORM CANCELLATION POLICY
NO refunds will be given UNLESS:
The National Weather Service orders a MANDATORY evacuation of the Florida Keys, including Key Largo, Florida falling into the "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area"
The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order of the Florida Keys, including Key Largo, Florida falling into the "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area", we WILL refund as follows:
a. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered and leaves early
b. Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted
c. Any advance deposits for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period
