We use both of Shawn’s properties to host a corporate learning class. We had about 25 guests coming rotate through the property and they all had a great time and had nothing but great things to say about the property.

One of the best places you will find for a large group in Asheville. The location is second to none. Secluded and private, while at the same time 10-15 minute car ride to downtown. Ubers/Lyfts are very easy to get from the property. The property itself is a compound with two separate houses and tons of room for games and parking. Each house has its own outdoor hot tub and sauna. Plenty of games too: an outdoor ping pong table, pool table, and basketball/pickleball court. The half court doubles as a pickleball court and comes with its own movable net. The scenery and landscaping are stunning. The decor and interior space are phenomenal. Beautiful water feature/waterfall in between the two houses. All the guests raved about how comfortable the beds were. This was without a doubt the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Fantastic work—no notes.

We were a group of 10 adults, and this property was absolutely perfect for us. Having the main house and the A-frame cabin gave everyone plenty of space to spread out, and the whole place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very well-maintained. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, and all the beds were comfortable. The communal areas were definitely the highlight—we spent time enjoying the large deck, the downstairs patio, the pool, ping pong, hot tubs and the saunas. The location i secluded and peaceful once you’re up the hill, but you’re still only about 15 minutes away from downtown Asheville. We had a great time, and I’d definitely stay here again if I was planning another trip with a large group.

This place is amazing. Our extended family of 16 had a great time. Both homes are as nicely furnished and stocked as I’ve ever seen in a rental. The outdoor amenities and activities were terrific for our three generations to enjoy time together. All of this just a few minutes from Biltmore and all that Asheville has to offer.

WOW! The space is beautifully designed to encourage together time. We had a family get together with 16 people ranging in age from 1-65. We rented both homes and they are conveniently 50 steps apart. Everything is just as mentioned / described plus so much more. We needed for nothing. All the kitchen stuff you could need. Beautiful outdoor space w string lights that came on at dusk. We all enjoyed the sports court (corn hole, basketball, pickleball). So many outdoor areas to enjoy. We ALL fit on the leather couch to watch the hockey playoffs!!! Beds are comfy. Bathrooms for everyone. The host was super responsive. We shared meals together at the large tables, were able to cook (and clean) together, time on the decks. Very thoughtfully designed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sean’s place! Renting both houses was such a great experience for our large group and everything in the homes were absolutely spotless. We absolutely loved being able to take advantage of the sauna and hot tub as well as the basketball and pickle ball court. The house is conveniently located about 10 minutes from downtown Asheville, which makes it a really great option for both staying in and hanging out but also very easy to get downtown to bars and restaurants and things to do. I highly recommend more staying at Sean‘s place for a large family gathering or friends weekend. Our guests and us truly had the best time!!

We booked the Ridgetop compound for a company team retreat, and it exceeded expectations from start to finish. I’ve organized several of these over the years, and this was by far the smoothest experience. The property was ideal for our group, completely private, with plenty of outdoor space for activities and downtime. The large brick patio became our go to gathering spot, and the pickleball court was a huge hit. Both homes felt brand new. Multiple large expansive deck spaces. Sean was a very responsive and easy to work with, and clearly experienced with larger groups. Overall, it struck the perfect balance between a private retreat and a functional space for our team, and we’d absolutely come back.
