Captain's Quarters is a top-floor 2BR/2BA with ocean views from the living room, kitchen and cozy balcony! King suite, a queen-and-twin bunk room, two en-suite baths and Smart TVs everywhere for those rare rainy days. Beach towels included! Out the door: a gated resort with a pool, hot tub, tennis, pickleball, beach and marina!

THE LAYOUT Building 4, 4th floor (top floor), with an elevator and stairs. Sleeps 5. • Primary suite: king bed, private bath with a walk-in shower • Guest suite: bunk bed with a queen on the bottom and a twin on top, private bath with a tub/shower

INSIDE Updated, with Smart TVs in every room (a 55" in the living room for those rare rainy days). Linens, towels, beach towels and soaps are all provided.

THE VIEW Incredible ocean views from the living room, kitchen and cozy private balcony.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT Two private baths, so mornings run smoothly. Captain's orders!

CHECKING IN Self check-in with your own door code, sent before you arrive. The front gate is staffed 24/7; just give the guard the name on the reservation and you're in! Parking for 2 vehicles is included. Boats and trailers only with a confirmed dockmaster reservation.

POOL BAR: The resort's pool bar and waterfront cafe are temporarily closed as of October 2026. Plenty of great restaurants and waterfront bars in Key Largo and Islamorada are just a short drive away, and we're happy to share our favorites!

Ocean Pointe is a gated, 60+ acre waterfront resort in Tavernier at mile marker 92.5, smack in the middle of Key Largo and Islamorada. Best of both worlds!

Just up the road: John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the country's first undersea park, with world-class snorkeling and diving. Just down the road: Islamorada, the Sportfishing Capital of the World, plus sandbars, waterfront restaurants and plenty of happy hours. Nearby favorites include Theater of the Sea, the History of Diving Museum, Robbie's (go feed the tarpon!), the Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary and the Turtle Hospital. Harry Harris Park, with a waterfront walk and playground, is right around the corner. Grocery stores and pharmacies are minutes away.

Good to know: the Keys are coral islands, so our beaches are cozy, not Cancún. The real magic is on the water! The closest larger public beach is Anne's Beach in Islamorada.

And don't leave without a slice of key lime pie. That's basically a house rule!

We absolutely loved staying here for a long weekend! The ocean and sandbar views were AMAZING, and sitting on the porch with a drink watching the sunrise and sunset was one of my favorite parts. Honestly, I would’ve paid way more just for that view! The room was spotless, smelled great, and genuinely felt like a nice hotel room. The bathrooms were SO clean, and the HUGE bathtub was perfect for relaxing after diving (and soaking our scuba gear). The beds were super comfy, and the AC worked great. The location was gorgeous and so easy to get around, with a beach, beach bar/restaurant, pool, hot tub, and more right there. The elevator was a little clunky, but obviously not the host’s fault. Having a traffic light right outside was also a HUGE plus—if you’ve been to the Keys, you know how awful turning left can be! The host was super responsive and gave very clear instructions as well! Overall, amazing stay and we’d 100% stay here again!!

This was a fabulous location. Place was easy to get to, beautiful view each morning and they were not what I would call high maintenance owners. The amenities were great, had everything you would need and everything worked! Only issue was with gate security. The lady was rude and not helpful to two guests dropping by from their place. Not the fault of the owner at all but be prepared to explain rules to all guests in your party.

The only problem we had was the only elevator was not working and had been broken a weeks, it was an issue with the luggage and when we went to the market, I understand this is out of the owners control but we should have been told in advance. This was an awesome unit and best location in the complex, near pool, beach, and marina. The sofa and chair in living room was sooo comfy. A perfect place for our family. Amenities are nice: Can fish in marina and boat slip was nice, but a little pricy per day. Pool and hot tub were nice and great margaritas at the beach restaurant. Our teen/young adult kids had plenty to do. Tennis and pickleball courts open into evening. If you plan to cook a lot, you may need to pick up some basic supplies. plenty of pots and pans and utensils and and nice appliances, but short on containers, mixing/serving bowls, and paper good, basic spices. Owner was super responsive and we'll be back

This was a wonderful stay at a really great place; just off the beaten path, so it was quiet, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Our favorite nightly hangout was listening to the small waves coming in from the tiki-hut at the end of the pier; very relaxing! We had a fantastic view of the mangrove island and sand bar across the bay from the living room. Aside from a few small foibles, we really enjoyed ourselves and Sean’s slice of paradise!

Lovely with a beautiful view from the living room area. Don’t miss sunrise and/or sunset at the pier/beach, which is a short stroll from Sean’s place. Team was very responsive and friendly. Wonderful heated pool and hot tub only a short walk from the condo —which we really appreciated following two days of diving in not so great conditions! Great location for diving and/or renting boat from Tavernier Mariner. We would definitely rent with Sean again. We had one issue with a water leak (caused by former guests) and Sean addressed it immediately. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Condo was adorable, cozy, comfortable and served it’s purpose but a lot smaller than what I expected…”balcony” is a one man limit. My family and I are extremely laid back and don’t sweat small stuff but when lil things add up….I believe in constructive criticism. The day before our arrival, I was notified that the master bathroom shower was inoperable…and told our trip would be discounted some if we chose to keep our booking…..no biggie about the shower….but we have not received any discount…also no biggie to us. Upon our arrival we were told that we would be able to checkin a bit earlier than our 4pm allotted time…our travel started at 3 am…this was huge for us but at 3:45 pm we still weren’t in and the cleaning lady was no where near finished when I finally just said I don’t care about what’s not done…I just want to be out of a vehicle.. The resort had a marina with a cafe/bar listed in the amenities of the resort but it was closed down. Pool area is very nice. Overall nice…

Sean was an amazing host very responsive we had one small problem he was easy to text to help. Other than that we were very comfortable the beds were like clouds and it was a beautiful place. Thank you Sean!

From the moment I saw the ‘Captains Quarters’ pictures and write-up there were no surprises. The unit, location, resort was exactly as stated.
