Sean is a great host and his communication is excellent. The accommodation speaks for itself, it’s trully a Hidden Gem. Everything exceeded our expectations and We can’t wait to be back next year!

We had a great time at Hidden Gem with our 7 year old daughter. We had everything we needed and loved the dock area for sunrise and sunset. Lots to do and explore in the area, including kayaking, visiting the aquarium and dolphin research centre, Sombrero beach, Founders park, both breweries and sunset dinners. Thank you for a great time!

Location, location, location! The small private marina on site was so wonderful to have, and the property is located so close to anywhere we needed to go locally. Beautiful sunsets. The apartment unit was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend.

We had a Wonderful time at this beautiful location. Everything was tastefully decorated and functionally very easy to use. We felt at home instantly. We fished, kayaked, and snorkeled out front and soaked up tons of sun on the well designed pier. The Publix grocery store had everything we needed for all our meals and the local fare was great and well priced. Highly recommend Lorelai's for sunset dinner. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking in this area. Thanks again, Sean.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was great. The patio area is a total dream for morning coffee. Check-in was a breeze, and the host was very responsive. We will be back!

Stayed at this venue several times and always a perfect location. Great host. The jam is located within walking distance of many amenities and restaurants, and there is plenty to do locally the boating dock is an absolute perfect location. We will continue to come back. We absolutely love this place.

The place was cute! Just some wear and tear. We would have liked a couple more bath/hand towels. We did have a shared washer and dryer but honestly, we didn’t want to do laundry. Lazy vacation. Everyone was so friendly and our hosts were very quick to respond! The location is very central to coffee/food/shops. You just need to be very careful crossing over the overseas hwy! Spring break made for lots of traffic. Also, plenty of parking at #6 Hidden Gem if you have a rental car. Thank you to Sean and Lauren for being wonderful hosts.

We keep coming back Worth every $ and has more to give every time, cool and yet practical, has great facilities and is well placed for walking to the bars and restaurants, dock is perfect and well protected. You meet a lot of travelers who have been coming for years, has a great following with so much to do. Host is perfect and very responsive, cleaning staff do a great job and every time we come it’s ready to go, Simply perfect

The Hidden Gem was perfect for our stay. It was laid out nicely, and in a beautiful setting. Just footsteps from the water, and an easy walk or drive to anything around. Sean was very responsive, and answered any questions that we had. Definitely hope that we can come back sometime!

Sean was a fantastic host. The place was clean when we arrived, had all the necessities, was in a great area of Islamorada, and Sean was very communicative on instructions. His helpful binder/booklet in the unit had recommendations and suggestions too. Look forward to returning at some point in the future.

We stayed at the Hidden Gem; a 2 bdrms, 2 baths cute unit. We loved the entire place and it's subtle quaint atmosphere. A very short walk to the water had a stunning view. We will definitely be back.

We live only roughly 3 hours north and this was the perfect long weekend spot. The home is super cute and for us, in the perfect spot. We were able to walk to quite a few shops and local restaurants. We rented a boat for a day and that was only 5 mins up the road. It was a much needed disconnect and we choose the right location :)

We had a great stay here with our kiddos. The Hidden Gem had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay. Close to everything - a great middle keys location. Host sent several texts checking on us throughout our stay. We saw so many cool fish right at the back of the property on the sea wall - barracuda, grouper, parrot fish, Angel fish, and crabs to name a few. We hope to visit and stay again soon!

We had a great stay in Islamorada at this house. Location is perfect! We were minutes away from so many things. My daughter loved looking for all the little lizards that scattered as we entered the patio. The house was well stocked with things we needed. Beach stuff wise, there are noodles and some camping chairs - no kids sand toys so plan to bring those if you have little ones. There were 4 beach towels provided. The washer was broken while we were there so hopefully it is repaired soon. Of note, the mattresses are very firm so if you like a softer mattress then it might not be the house for you. Also, if you happen to find a man’s ring in the house, it might be my husband’s. Please let the host know so we can arrange to get it back.

We have stayed here a few times always changing and updating, very proactive in developing and looking after the property and the surroundings always something different. For sure you get a lot of return for your spend and the whole facility is great value and a great experience .

We have stayed before and it’s great to be back, this place is always updating this new paint and a new garden layout it ticks every box you could expect. This place attracts guests of all types and we enjoy the mix of people at the dock and sun set yet it is very private and quiet. The whole venue lends its self to just the most relaxing environment , and yet if you want a swim at sun rise or sun set the sea bock offer a perfect place to slip in to the water and enjoy the whole venue. The dock is great and has everything as does the home and the yard, Supper easy parking and you can walk or take a ride to everything you could need. Perfect vacation I’m not sure how they could improve it, but some how they do every time we visit

Peaceful tucked away setting with great sunset views when you walk down to the water. Close to many fun things to do. We didn’t rent/bring a boat but seems like it would be ideal for that.

Hidden Gem is the perfect name for this property! The house was quaint and the entire property is beautiful to walk down to the bay and enjoy the scenery. Perfectly located in the heart of Islamorada and close to plenty of restaurants and shops to walk to. Can’t wait to be back again!

As advertised it’s a Gem, high quality everything pots pans cook utensils, this place has all the toys and is supper clean, clearly a lot of effort to keep it top condition, out side BBQ x 2 gas or charcoal all clean fresh covers and all the garden yard patio is so family orientated even sharing loads of room and privacy, Not often you get full sized laundry room, this gem has everything even squeeze your own fresh juice in the mornings, Main dock for the boat is very well protected and all the supplies are working and in great order, the garden is a delight and some really big effort in keeping the plants in order, some fantastic flows and air plants, Yep it’s a gem, we stayed in both units on this trip and both are as good as each other . Many thanks for the effort to make a great vacation home

The property was really clean and recently updated both inside and out. It had all the amenities we needed and a fully functional kitchen. The water access and dock area are great and there is good fishing right out in front. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Islamorada!

Great place to stay in the heart of Islamorada. Hidden Gem was just that - tucked away, great accommodations with a beautiful courtyard and fabulous access to the water. We even had a manatee visit the boat park! Sean and Lauren were wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

I have been coming to the Keys for many years, and this is without question the best condo I've stayed in within Islamorada. Sean was an amazing host from start to finish. The unit was clean and perfect for a getaway. The patio was amazing and a short walk to the ocean. Five stars in every aspect, highly recommend!!

This is a fantastic property! It is located a little off the beaten path but close to what you need and within walking distance of kayak rental, shops and the Islamorada Brewing Company. We stayed here 2 years ago (different owner) and when looking around for other places could not find anything as well located in a quite area. Sean and Lauren are fantastic and we can't wait to stay here again.

Overall, great location and nice property. We stayed downstairs and could hear lots going on upstairs. The apartment could have been cleaner. All of the beds were very creaky. Master bath shower dingy. However, the kitchen was fine and living room was okay. Lighting could be better--as the lights above were a bit much even though there was a dimmer. We loved the chairs outside in front, as well as the dock area. Parking was very convenient. Sean was great.

Place was nice and clean and had more room than I expected. Centrally located in Islamorada and across the street from Islamorada Brewery. Access to the bay was also nice - we sat out every night and enjoyed the view. Owner was very responsive to requests. I would definitely rent the property again. Only ding...a painter came in while we were there to paint the outside of the house. Not a problem, since we were enjoying the area, but if we were going to stay around and use the outdoor space, it would have been a bit inconvenient.

The accommodations were what I expected, but we had a recurring roach problem while we stayed there. The property manager got someone out to spray, but those little German roaches are insidious. We have sterilized all of our bags and clothes with the hope of not bringing them home.

We had a great time and the condo is in a great location! Sean was awesome and very accommodating and even came to meet us in person. We will be back to stay again!

The place was wonderful. Within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants/attractions but nicely secluded. Very clean and nicely appointed.

Very clean, comfortable, great location

We really liked the place,the apartment has all the utilities that are needed in a home from A to Z,everything is beautiful, quiet, comfortable, clean, with easy access from sea and land to the places we visit. Perfect mooring for boats and a good location,we enjoyed every moment of all its comforts. In short, the ideal place to spend a few days on vacation. Another very important thing is the proximity to the Islamorada sandbar(in my opinion the best in Florida).

We went for a short family get-away from real life and found it at the Hidden Gem. The property is exceptionally well maintained and very comfortable. Sean is extremely responsive! There are so many restaurants in walking distance. The patio area is so relaxing, and it's a short walk to the boat dock area. The area is very quiet and cozy. We will definitely be back for another visit.

I’ve rented a lot of houses in the keys and this one is now one of my favorites. Will definitely stay again. Very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Excellent patio area and grounds. Sean was fantastic to deal with! I would highly recommend Hidden Gem.

Great location. Walking distance to several fun spots to hang out. Clean unit and with a short walk to the other side of the property you see the beautiful (bayside) Gulf of Mexico. Quaint and quiet!!

This is a nicely located property that is tucked away with an outdoor area worthy of a few drinks and relaxation. It was well kept, clean, and bright. Check in and out process easy with prompt communication.

Excellent communication with Sean throughout. Location was lovely-great sunsets and this morning saw a mother manatee and its baby.

This location and the space were fantastic. The ability to take a few steps to the water and watch the amazing key's sunset was by far my favorite thing about this space. The common area patio space was very nice with the privacy of the landscape. The interior of the space had everything we needed, beach towels included. Having a brewery, outfitter, and restaurants all within walking distance was awesome. We hope to get to snag this place again the next time we are in town.

Great spot right off highway 1 if you are staying in Islamorado. Nice court area where with seating where you’d never guess you are so close to the road. Can walk down to the water with beautiful views and seating. Would definitely stay there again.

Sean was great and the place was exactly as described. The water was very close, no further than the dairy section when entering a grocery! I would recommend this place for a stay.

The reviews were right, this truly is a hidden gem on Islamorada! The apartment was perfect for my small family. It’s immaculate, thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space, and very soothing to be in (think: coastal charm, not cheese). The windows are amazing to look out at all the greenery, as is the patio space and easy access to the bay just down the walkway. We rented a paddle board for the week from the Outfitters literally next door and they dropped it off and picked it back up at the boat slip for us. Couldn’t have been easier. This spot is perfectly situated for easy access to the road to get all around the Keys. Really ideal as a jumping off point for day trips. Yet, when you’re in the apartment you feel isolated and peaceful (it is SO quiet!). All in all, a truly perfect experience. Getting daily pets with Fin the local outdoor kitty was icing for our toddler (it was the highlight of his trip). Book it. You won’t regret it.
