This property was all anyone could want. Had one issue but Sean was able to take care of promptly. He was easy to deal with. We highly recommend and would definitely book again. The pool area with pool bar and snack bar were a nice plus. Food was good and drinks reasonable. Great view of the Atlantic and a plus for us were the local wildlife we could watch at dusk as they came out..
Excellent accommodations, we never left the property. Condo was beautiful and we really enjoyed the restaurant/bar that is onsite. Host was very accessible and easy to communicate with. We will be back.

April 22-2026 5.00Our family loved the stay at Sean's place. Having a pool and restaurant on site was super helpful with kids. The condo was beautiful, well kept and looked exactly liked the pictures. We would absolutely stay there again when when we come back to the keys.

Access
Each reservation comes with two spaces for car parking. You will get a unique door code to access the condo. Please be aware that from September 9-October 14, we are replacing our elevator and elevator service may not be available. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Ideal Location in the Florida Keys Ocean Pointe Suites is midway between Key Largo and Islamorada, the Diving and Fishing Capitals of the United States , promising you first-class fishing, diving and snorkeling opportunities, not to mention more fresh seafood than you can imagine! As the only reef system in the U.S. is right offshore, it doesn’t get any better than this! The area is absolutely chock full of things to do- John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, the nation’s first underwater park, art galleries, Theater of the Sea, the History of Diving Museum, nature trails, kayaking, paddling, Cruisin’Tikis, Robbie’s of Islamorada, Dolphin Discovery, Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary, the Turtle Hospital- the list goes on. Not to mention all the colorful Keys eateries, a meadery, microbreweries, bars, fresh seafood, authentic Cuban cuisine, and more. No visit to the Keys is complete until you have tried a slice of our famous key lime pie- yum! Drive in either direction and you can find yourself in the pulsing excitement of Miami, the otherworldly beauty of the Everglades, or the famous “Conch Republic”, Key West. Please note that for gym lovers, the Mariner's Hospital extensive gym/rehab facilities are less than a mile away and a day pass is $15 and a weekly pass is $25.
Transit
DRIVING DIRECTIONS If you are arriving via car and have a GPS / SatNav system in the car, please use 500 Burton Drive, Tavernier, Florida as the address. If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 - Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1. Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there is. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area. You can reach Ocean Pointe by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Burton Drive at mile marker 92.5, just before the Circle K convenience store and Dairy Queen in the median. Ocean Pointe is approximately half mile down Burton drive on your right. Please excuse us as we undergo renovations for a new gate house. GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. Some possibilities to explore: KEYS AIRPORT SHUTTLE provides daily door to door shuttle service to and from Key West & the Florida Keys & Miami & Ft Lauderdale airports. The GREYHOUND KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures from the Miami Airport to all areas in the Keys. CAR PARKING Parking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to our unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming, and the plate numbers of cars provided.

HOUSE RULES:
* Minimum age of primary guest checking in must be 25
* No Commercial Vehicles of any kind
* The resort does not allow wet towels to be hung over the outdoor railings
* Personal kayaks must be stored in or on your vehicle during your stay
* Shoes must be stowed in the suite, not outside
* CHILDREN JUMPING ON OUR BEDS, creates costly damage to our bed frames.
* REFRIGERATOR: Please do not turn the fridge to the coldest setting, it will freeze up and stop working. It can take up to 9 hours to chill room temp products.
* Quiet time 10:00pm to 8:00am.
* NO Unauthorized Guests
* NO luggage carts inside the condo
* NO PETS - ESA and Service Animals must be registered/approved by property manager
* Pack and Play, High Chair available for rent
* NO SMOKING-$500 cleaning fee if evidence of smoke is discovered
HURRICANE/TROPICAL STORM CANCELLATION POLICY
NO refunds will be given UNLESS:
The National Weather Service orders a MANDATORY evacuation of the Florida Keys, including Key Largo, Florida falling into the "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area"
The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order of the Florida Keys, including Key Largo, Florida falling into the "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area", we WILL refund as follows:
a. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered and leaves early
b. Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted
c. Any advance deposits for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period
