Featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the space is thoughtfully designed for relaxation after a day on the water. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your fresh catch, while the inviting living area provides the perfect place to unwind and feel right at home. Enjoy resort-style amenities throughout the condo complex, including tennis and pickleball courts, a private beach and fishing pier, and a marina perfect for throwing in a fishing line. Relax by the Olympic-size pool or unwind in the jacuzzi after a day in the sun. Our guests also have access to picnic areas with charcoal BBQ grills, a poolside bar, and an on-site café featuring daily happy hour, creating the perfect island escape in paradise.
Access
You will have full access to Ocean Pointe Suites resort & property and key less entry to your condo. The security gate is manned 24 hours. The person who made the reservation, will need to present their ID upon arrival. Boats and boat trailers are only allowed if pre-approved by the dock master prior to reservation. Two vehicles max.

Explore the vibrant underwater world at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, known for its incredible diving, snorkeling, and coral reefs, or experience world-class fishing in Islamorada, famously known as the “Sport Fishing Capital of the World.” Whether you’re seeking adventure on the water or a relaxing island getaway, Ocean Pointe places you in the heart of it all.
Transit
DRIVING DIRECTIONS If you are arriving via car and have a GPS / SatNav system in the car, please use 500 Burton Drive, Tavernier, Florida as the address. If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 - Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1. Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there is. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area. You can reach Ocean Pointe by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Burton Drive at mile marker 92.5, just before the Circle K convenience store and Dairy Queen in the median. Ocean Pointe is approximately half mile down Burton drive on your right. Please excuse us as we undergo renovations for a new gate house. GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. Some possibilities to explore: KEYS AIRPORT SHUTTLE provides daily door to door shuttle service to and from Key West & the Florida Keys & Miami & Ft Lauderdale airports. The GREYHOUND KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures from the Miami Airport to all areas in the Keys. CAR PARKING Parking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to our unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming, and the plate numbers of cars provided.
Notes
For enhanced hygiene and guest comfort, all linens and towels are professionally laundered off-site by a commercial laundry service. This process ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and quality for every stay. Marina slip and/or trailer reservations have to be made prior to arriving with the Dockmaster. RV's and jet skis are not allowed.

HOUSE RULES:
* Minimum age of primary guest checking in must be 25
* The resort does not allow wet towels to be hung over the outdoor railings
* Personal kayaks must be stored in or on your vehicle during your stay
* Shoes must be stowed in the suite, not outside
* CHILDREN JUMPING ON OUR BEDS, creates costly damage to our bed frames.
* REFRIGERATOR: Please do not turn the fridge to the coldest setting, it will freeze up and stop working. It can take up to 9 hours to chill room temp products.
* Quiet time 10:00pm to 8:00am.
* NO Unauthorized Guests
* NO commercial vehicles of any kind
* Pack and Play, High Chair available for rent
* NO PETS. ESA and service animals have to be registered/approved by property manager
* NO SMOKING-$500 cleaning fee if evidence of smoke is discovered
* CATS on property: Our cats are wild, please do not feed or touch them, enjoy them from afar.
HURRICANE/TROPICAL STORM CANCELLATION POLICY
NO refunds will be given UNLESS:
The National Weather Service orders a MANDATORY evacuation of the Florida Keys, including Key Largo, Florida falling into the "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area"
The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order of the Florida Keys, including Key Largo, Florida falling into the "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area", we WILL refund as follows:
a. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered and leaves early
b. Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted
c. Any advance deposits for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period
