We had an excellent stay at The Salty Mermaid in Tavernier, Florida. The unit was extremely clean, well-kept, and very comfortable throughout our visit. The amenities were outstanding — the pool area and pickleball courts were meticulously maintained and added a lot to the overall experience. The location is also prime and centrally located, making it easy to explore everything the area has to offer. If you’re planning a trip to the Keys, The Salty Mermaid is an absolute must-stay!

What a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the view…so well maintained that my family and I enjoyed just being there. Everything was exactly at described. Looking forward to visiting again!

Sean's AirBNB was the perfect accommodation in Key Largo. It was easy to find and immacutely clean. The views were absolutely gorgeous. Sean himself responds quickly to questions, and the check in / check out instructions were very clear. Thanks for a great stay! We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay. Beautiful view of the water. Both sunrise and sunset revisable this time of year for us. The pool was great and walkable. The kids had a great time. There’s a lot to do in the area, you do have to drive a little bit to get to some of the attractions, but it is a wonderful place.

Great location for exploring the Keys. 2 hours to Key West. Short drive to Key Largo. Very quiet and comfortable. The views are unmatched. Plenty of space for two adults. Had all the necessities of home—well stocked kitchen, king bed,toiletries, plenty of towels, washer and dryer, lots of hangers! Even a Keurig. Resort had great amenities-pool, hot tub, small beach, restaurant, and marina. Beach was less busy than pool and very relaxing. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Sean was easy extremely responsive and gave us all the details for check in and check out. His binder of information in the unit was very helpful. Wonderful host.

The property was great, the pool and pool bar/grill were excellent as well as the on site restaurant. There seemed to be a lot of confusion if there was a restaurant or not. The property was walkable and the water view from this room is incredible. The living room space was comfortable and just as pictured, thank you for the throw blankets on the couches. We only stayed for 3 nights but I could see being here for a week and being happy. Everything that was listed as included was there, we would have loved it if some coffee was included but definitely not a negative as grocery shopping was close by.

Nice getaway to the keys and close to great fishing, restaurants and shopping! No need to drive further south, this location is ideal as it's upper keys and easy access to and from Miami and mid keys

What an amazing stay we had. The hosts Sean/Denise were extremely responsive and friendly. The apartment was beautiful, brand new and looked exactly like the photos. It had everything we needed and plenty of information in the welcome folder on where places are located and what to do. Location was safe, secure and very convenient for everything in the Keys. Absolute gem of a place.

The place was great and clean. It was peaceful and relaxing. The views were great and drivable distance to places to eat. It was private and not in a crowded. We would 100% recommend. The weather was great and walking to the dock to see the sunrise and set were great!!

Exactly what we hoped for, we had a wonderful stay - 5 stars all around! Great location - views of the water from inside and out on the balconies - easy travel up and down the Keys with plenty of things to do and places to eat available. Kitchen amenities just right for us to cook several fresh meals comfortably - condo was clean, tidy, the property inside and out well maintained. Our stay at Sean’s waterfront condo in Tavernier was absolutely wonderful. The space was peaceful, elegant, and so comfortable — exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The view and ocean breeze were perfection.

The condo was amazing. We enjoyed the stay. Sean responded to all questions. Great views. Pool was great. Very clean and open. In a sidebar, there is a restaurant about 9 miles north of the condo. It is called Hobo Cafe. The place has the BEST food in the keys. Spotless restaurant, food is absolutely delicious with huge portions.The staff is super friendly and very reasonably priced. CHECK IT OUT😃

We had a great 4 night stay at the Salty Mermaid with 4 adults and a toddler. Sean was responsive to questions and sent very detailed and helpful information about check in and what was and was not available at the condo beforehand. The location was perfect for us with many parks, beaches, activities, restaurants and groceries within a 20 minute drive. Everything was super clean and well maintained. If you are traveling with small children you’ll want to bring some toys or activities to keep them entertained. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future!

We thought the condo was great - the decor was cute, the place was very clean and updated, and the views from the teeny balconies were beautiful! The location in the Keys is good if you plan to mostly be in Key Largo area. Otherwise, we felt pretty removed from some of the middle and lower keys beaches/activities we were interested in. The unit is close to the pool, which is a nice plus. You could occasionally hear neighboring units watching TV at night but otherwise felt the property was pretty quiet. While we liked the unit itself, we were very disappointed to discover that the Ocean Pointe facility allows smoking in public spaces. This was not communicated in the Airbnb listing as I feel it should have been. Each time we were at the pool, other guests were smoking cigarettes, cigars, and vaping both in and around the pool area ... not super family-friendly in our opinion as the listing suggests. I hope the owners update the listing to make this more clear for future guests.

Comfortable and immaculate place with stunning water views. It had everything you need to enjoy a great stay in the Keys. The resort is peaceful. The pool area is relaxing. Also, the on-site, beachfront restaurant/bar is a great place to go for a pre-dinner drink. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Sean’s place. The detailed communication from the time we booked and thru our stay was much appreciated and covered everything we needed to know to make our stay enjoyable. The place was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. A bonus while we were there was seeing dolphins swim by from our balcony!!

We loved staying in the Salty Mermaid in the Bonefish Suites! Upon entering the view drew us right in! The place is decorated and updated so nicely that it made you feel right at home. It was also very clean. The pool was bigger than we expected. The beach and docks for fishing was a short walk. Even though we didn’t get to use any of it, the basket with tennis rackets and pickle ball rackets was a nice addition. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Keys.

Salty Mermaid did not disappoint! Great ocean views! We loved the access to the beach and pool. The space itself was a delight - clean and fresh with fun updated decor and furnishings! It’s exactly as the pictures show, and there are some great resources in the condo with info about the keys and nearby area! We had one thing missing from our place and the response and replacement for it was quick and painless! All the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Would highly recommend Oasis Vacation Rentals!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Sean's place. The campus where the condo is located is very clean, quiet and safe. The condo was recently renovated and was so comfortable for my wife and me. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Easily could have had another two people in the unit. Communication was excellent and check in was a breeze. Easy to walk from the Ocean Pointe campus to sidewalks that follow US 1. We spent a few days at the beach area on campus and attended the happy hour at the Island Grill that is there. We definitely look forward to staying here again!

Our stay at Tavernier condo was exactly as described. We enjoyed the amenities, including pickleball, the warm pool and hot tub, and convenient beach access. It was a nice touch that towels were provided. The king bed was exceptionally comfortable — you practically melted into it for a restful night’s sleep.
